Leadership Development
We invest in long-term leadership development of born-again believers who earnestly serve the Lord and His people. We forge leaders who invest in family discipleship, teach biblical curriculum, plant churches & para-churches, teach trades, and serve orphans. Our goal is to develop godly leaders who multiply disciples of Jesus Christ.
About Son Ministry:
In 2016, Son Mission started leadership development of Busia-native Christians in the Busia District of Uganda, Africa. Through Son Mission's leadership development, in 2020, we helped them form a national-based para-church organization called Son Ministry. Son Ministry is lead by Ugandan-natives. They have a board of directors and missional team for the purpose of fulfilling the great commission in Uganda. In partnership, we have planted 3 churches, discipled over 50 orphans through key developmental years, taught yearlong biblical curriculum to over 2,100 students, opened a trade school, drilled a well for their community, developed countless leaders, hosted missionaries, and planted a banana farm.
Son Ministry Leadership:
Wafula Andrew is the international director of Son Ministry and leads the board and daily operations. His wife, Anyango Flavia, works as Son Ministry's Child Development Coordinator. Andrew and Anyango Flavia are natives of the Busia District. They married in December of 2014 and have three biological sons and one daughter (Melchizedek, Benjamin, David, and Deborah); and four adopted children: Natocho, Ouma, Douglas, and Efumbi. Andrew received a diploma in theology from Uganda Baptist seminary in Jinja and currently pastors Hope in Jesus Church.

How Son Ministry engages the people of the Busia District:
Biblical Discipleship
We create Biblical curriculum and equip pastors & mentors to disciple youth, orphans, and adults in schools and churches.
The Hub
We built a missional landing point for pastors, caregivers, orphans, youth, and missionaries to serve the people of Uganda.
Sustainability/Education
We provide orphans and at-risk youth with scholarships for Secondary education and Trade Skills.
