Son Mission
The Son of God, Jesus Christ, willingly died the death we deserve.
By grace, through faith in Jesus alone, we are led by the Spirit of God, yielding freedom to live for God as His sons and daughters.
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Romans 8:14-17
“Son Mission” is driven by the Son of God making the only way for adoption as sons and daughters into the Father’s family, giving them His Spirit to live on Mission. His mission is rooted in the great commission and love expressed through sacrificial action. This is why we exist: “Making disciples from Jesus’ sacrificial grace.” (see Matthew 28:19; 1 John 3:16)
We plant, provide, and position. We plant in a location: developing long-term partnerships. We provide for our partners: practical resources and training. We position our partners to replicate: establishing organizations or churches to serve orphans and communities. Our heart is multiplication: making disciples who make disciples.

The Story
By God’s grace, in 2016, I had the opportunity to serve in the Busia District of Uganda, Africa. I built relationships with local leaders who grafted me into their culture and way of life. Through relationships, I learned about the plight of orphans and the needs of the local church. I concentrated my effort in developing an orphan support program, writing Biblical curriculum for public and private schools, and mapping out a way to equip pastors. Before I departed the Busia District, I prayed with pastor Andrew Wafula and 7 orphans under a jackfruit tree; asking God to help us, in partnership, to serve orphans and the local church for generations to come. I jetted back to America - wondering how God would answer our prayer. God faithfully opened doors, maturing my faith along the way, resulting in the birth and growth of Son Mission. Over the course of years and mission trips to Uganda, strategic partners joined Son Mission - bolstering the vision and capacity to serve the people of the Busia District. Andrew Wafula and I have seen God’s will be done from our prayer under that jackfruit tree in 2016. We testify that God is faithfully serving His people through Son Mission. Our growth has been steady, year by year, allowing us to serve more orphans, caregivers, pastors, schools, churches, etc. We have witnessed Muslims turn to the God of the Bible, the baptisms of over 80 professing believers, and orphans become sustainable, educated adults. Our continual prayer is for Son Mission to be faithful to God’s Word, no matter what the results render. We believe God has much more work for us to do. We pray that you are able to join us in serving the people of the Busia District!
