Her Story Erumbi’s mother died in 2008 from HIV, leaving 3 children behind. Her dad upheld his responsibilities for 6 months, but then fled. He hasn’t been seen since 2009. Erumbi graduated from Bright Hope, and loves the color blue, playing netball, eating mangos, and learning social studies. Her goal is to become a bank secretary. She has been attending Howard Christian High School for three years and thoroughly enjoys learning. She has been at the top of her class since her freshman year.
