Trade School
SM Trades is an accelerated, 12-month program for at-risk youth in the Busia District of Uganda, Africa. The 12-months are broken-down into 4 months of classroom learning and 8 months of hands-on application. We partner with an organization in the United Kingdom called "Tools with a Mission" (TWAM). This partnership allows our students to have their own tool kit after they graduate. Our aim is to position youth to attain sustainable skills for the purpose of financial sustainability and practical service to their community. Our instructors are certified in their respected fields - giving students the best opportunity to learn foundational skills. Additionally, we focus on discipleship and character development. Our students go through yearlong Jesus-centered curriculum to learn more about who they are and why they are called to serve God and others.
Missionaries
The Hub provides missionaries immersion into the Busia District culture. The Hub has private bathrooms, bedrooms, clean water, and 24/7 security. Our missional model focuses on building trust and interdependent relationships for the purpose of making disciples.
Leadership Development
The Son Mission Busia Team trains pastors and locals in the Busia District. They train locals on how to speak, read, and write English. They engage locals with over 70 weeks of discipleship lessons throughout the year. They give away Bibles, ask & answer difficult questions, encourage, and preach the Gospel. Additionally, pastors from the Busia District come to the Hub to access the library that has sound Biblical resources for the purpose of equipping their flocks.
