His Story Wandera’s mother fled in 2006, and his dad died in 2013. He hasn’t seen his mother since she fled. He graduated from Bright Hope Primary, and attends Howard Christian High School. His caregiver, Irene, is Bright Hope’s cook. He loves the color purple, eating oranges, playing futbol, and studying science. He wants to graduate from Howard Christian and continue his pursuit to become an engineer. Wandera is in his third year at Howard Christian High School! He is scoring well on his report cards. Additionally, he is following Howard Christian and Son Mission behavioral and educational expectations. He is scoring high in Math and still desires to become an engineer.
