Nasirumbi Lillan

Her Story Nasirumbi’s father died in 2012. Her mother wanted to take her and her two sisters to western Uganda but her aunt (her father’s sister) did not allow, so her mother left days after her husband’s burial. Nasirumbi hasn’t seen her mother since. She loves the color blue, eating matoke & oranges, playing dodge, and studying mathematics. Nasirumbi is in her third year at Howard Christian High School! She is scoring well on her report cards. Additionally, she is following Howard Christian and Son Mission behavioral and educational expectations, even though she struggled in the beginning of the 2018 school year to attend all her classes. She has bounced back since then. 2019 was a very good year for Nasirumbi, as her mentor has seen her countenance become more joyous. She is scoring high in her Science class and still desires to become a doctor!
